Guess Who Misses Their Grandson?
Bubie & Grandpa came (not rolling) into town today. They planned on arriving at about 10pm Thursday night due to an afternoon office move (Bubie's office was flooded the weekend Wilken was born and of course it was ready to be moved back into this weekend), but they ended up leaving at 12:45pm instead and arrived (even with L.A. traffic) at exactly 5pm. In the excitement of arriving 5 hours early, there was a bit of a struggle between who would hold Wilken first, but Grandpa prevailed with his courtroom tactics and eventually won the fight, but perhaps not the weekend battle!Despite Wilken's vaccine shots (1st ones; 3 of them!), he was a happy little boy today and excited to see his Bubie and Grandpa again (he was 2 weeks old last time he saw their faces, err, face-shaped shadows. We think he's crossed the "fussy" barrier at 8 weeks; full of smiles, coo's, and even what might be some laughter here and there. The Doctor and Nurses said he may have a fever tonight and be a little extra fussy, but we think Bubie & Grandpa's visit might have calmed him into the night.
The facial expressions were coming from all angles and the silly noises were no holds barred. I'm sure we'll have some more updates and stories as the weekend progresses (just look at Bubie's face!). Good night...

Ryan, since you are a bigger blog nerd than julie, will you please tell her your secret of posting pictures side by side? -Stovy
Oh, I think that the VDVs need to move to Bako. Showtime Golf can be managed via the internet and telephone from anywhere, right?
