Bottle Schmottle, Give Me FOOD!
The bottle days may not be over, but we feel great to know our boy is eating regular human food (well, not regular in the sense of rice powder and breastmilk, but we like to equate it to Rice Chex and 2%)! Where has the time gone?!? Here is Wilken eating his first taste of rice cereal. He loved it, and even grabbed the spoon to shovel it in even faster
Here he is eating bananas and rice cereal mixed together. His favorite so far.
He loves to use his fingers to savor the taste.
If he's anything like his father, not only will he enjoy food (and a lot of it), but he'll enjoy a variety of items. We're thinking at this rate a good ol' Ribeye is around the corner!

Yum Yum. Try the apples and apricots. They are the best. I have a jar of nanners for you. They give me the spit-ups.
Mmmm - pears and sweet potatoes are my favorite, Wil. Try those, too! And if you are going to try a ribeye, make sure they cook it rare - anything more just isn't worth eating.
I'm glad to see that Wilken is now eating "regular human food". He looks like he is enjoying it. It will be fun to see his reaction to all the different tastes that he will experience! Please, Ryan don't give him a "rib-eye" until he has at least one tooth!
What is it with that little "widow's peak" hair line?? That is so cute!
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you next week...I'll be there on the 15th of Nov. ~ Grandma V ~
Hey E, when you post the pic of Rory, could you throw in a Halloween one as well. Try to keep up kids!!
