Happy Days

Look at this happy little guy. What in the world could he be so chipper about? He has been winding down his second summer by spending a ton of time with his buddy Rory. What have these little rascals been up to? Well let's see...

Besides sharing an unbelivably cute first kiss (you heard me Aden!), they have been chasing each other around Rory's house. The soundless foootage I captured on our lame camera couldn't do the scene justice. Just picture about 5 mintues of the two chasing each other around this toy while squealing in delight. As you can see by Rory's expression, it was sooo fun!

Here they are at Kid City, a fun learning play area within one of the museums at Balboa Park.
Here they are sharing yet another beach day together.

You'll notice how we both love our floppy hats. Our Bakersfield mothers grew up with a lot of direct sun in that desert climate and we cannot escape their "mothering" at the sunny San Diego beaches. After putting them on and on and on, and now we actually leave them on!

Labor Day Weekend

How do you spend a HOT Labor Day weekend in Bakersfield? Naked of course! The above look is to warn my mommy against posting any nude shots of me. She complied. So how did I spend my time?
In the hot tub....without the heat.

Feeling the wind run through my hair as my Uncle Nate runs me around Bubie and Grandpa's house.
Chillin' with my dad at the counter like a big kid touching the very cool granite countertop.
Posing for pictures prior to leaving for an air conditioned Mexicali for dinner.
Evading the heat at Barnes and Noble with the Red Shirt Brigade.
Drinking out the hose and attempting to water the plants.

In all seriousness, I once again had a blast with my family and loved getting oogles of attention from my Aunt Marcie, Uncle Nate, Bubie, and Grandpa. Can't wait for the next trip!
